About Us...

Miss Milford Scholarship program has been in existence for the past eleven years. We have grown from having one title holder to having nine.

Since 1996, the Miss Milford Scholarship organization has awarded about 30 title holders and other contestants with over $18,000 in scholarships and savings bonds, thereby making it easier for young ladies graduating from our community to use the scholarship money they've received to attend the college or university of their choice.

Miss Milford has provided a vehicle of entrance for these individuals through what we call the title or the crown. These issues are vital to our community and gives these young ladies the opportunity to voice their concerns and to help make a difference. Not only do they discuss these issues, but they become involved by volunteering and raising funds for research for a cure or by helping to fund programs for civic or charitable organizations that are tied to their platform issues. Our program has afforded our title holders the personal and professional opportunities to promote their voices in culture, politics, and the community. Our program provides the forum for today's young women to express their viewpoints, talents, and accomplishments to audiences and to the public at large during their year of service.
