Bliss is a Suma cum laude graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Arts in English. She is also a member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society, an organization reserved for the top 10% of students.
Bliss is a first year law student at George Mason School of Law
in Arlington, Virginia.
Her platform topic is Type 1 Diabetes Awareness and Support. Bliss's talent is lyrical ballet en pointe.

Bliss Soucek was recently nominated for the 2007 Drive, Determination, Dedication Award by The Delaware/Eastern Shore Maryland Region of the American Diabetes Association for her accomplishments and proactive efforts surrounding her senior thesis project entitled "Literature for Children with Type 1 Diabetes" and her new endeavor and future plan to write a children's book about Type 1 Diabetes.
